About the artist

Helena Engström describes her work as a blend of realism and minimalism. Starting with graphite portraits at the age of 16, she developed towards photorealism before finding her own style — a cinematic mix of Stockholm minimalistic chic and Old Hollywood glamour. Her art has been exhibited internationally, from Milan and Venice to Stockholm and Uppsala, and published in the Nordic Art Guide.

Helena is best known for portraits that capture both the surface and inner beauty of her subjects, allowing viewers to connect deeply with the essence of each piece. In recent years she has also explored architecture, scenery and floral works, always keeping a minimalistic, story-driven expression.
